2 Days Left: Understanding Your Tax Payment Methods
With only 48 hours remaining, it is vital to know how to pay. If you submit your return but don't pay by the 31st, you are still considered "Late" and subject to interest.
Option 1: QR Code (PromptPay)
The most convenient method. The e-Filing portal generates a unique QR code. Simply scan this with your Thai banking app. The payment is typically recognized by the system almost instantly.
Option 2: Internet/Mobile Banking
You can pay via the "Bill Payment" section of your bank's app. You will need the Service Code (Revenue Department) and your Ref 1 (Tax ID) and Ref 2 (Filing ID) provided on your submission slip.
Option 3: Counter Service & ATM
You can print your payment slip and take it to any major bank branch or even a 7-Eleven Counter Service (for smaller amounts). Ensure you get a stamped receipt for your records.
Verification
Within 24-48 hours of payment, log back into the portal to download your Official Receipt. This is distinct from the filing confirmation and proves the debt has been settled with the government.
