7 Days to Go: The Final Personal Tax Checklist

Siam Advice FirmTax Analysis

The countdown has reached the final week. For those who have not yet submitted their 2025 Personal Income Tax return, it is time for a high-intensity review. Use these 7 points to ensure your filing is bulletproof.

The 7-Day Checklist

  1. Form 50 bis Accuracy: Does the total income on your certificate match your bank statements?
  2. Deduction Certificates: Do you have the PDF certificates for your Life and Health insurance? (A simple receipt may not be enough for the portal).
  3. e-Filing Login: Can you log in to the RD Smart Tax portal right now? If you need a password reset, do it today.
  4. Bank for Refund: If you are expecting a refund, is your PromptPay linked to your Thai ID? This is the fastest way to receive government payments.
  5. Joint vs. Separate: Have you and your spouse decided on the most tax-efficient filing method?
  6. Accrued Interest: Have you checked your bank apps for any interest earned from savings accounts that might exceed the 20,000 THB tax-free limit?
  7. Calculation Buffer: Have you double-checked the math for any charitable donations (remember the 2× deduction for schools!)?

Don't Panic, Just Act

The e-Filing system is robust, but it can become sluggish as the 31st approaches. Completing your checklist today allows you to file tomorrow or Wednesday, well ahead of the "Final 48-Hour" rush.
