With one day left, strategy is over. What remains is execution—avoiding the handful of small errors that turn a finished return into a stuck one.

 

1. PromptPay is your Friend

If you are due a refund, ensuring your PromptPay is linked to your Thai ID is the absolute fastest way to get your money. Without it, you are looking at a much longer wait for a physical check or manual transfer.

 

2. Digital Backup

As soon as you finish, email the PDF of your return to yourself. Website portals can go down; physical computers can crash. Having that PDF in your cloud storage means you can prove you filed regardless of what happens next. Save the submission confirmation and reference number along with it—together they are your proof of both filing and timing.

 

3. Don't Wait for Midnight

The "True Deadline" isn't 23:59—it is whenever the portal handles its final stable transaction. If you wait until 11:30 PM, you are at the mercy of server traffic. Finish by noon if possible.

 

If the Portal Rejects You

Under deadline-day traffic, submission errors happen. If one occurs, screenshot the error message and any reference number before retrying, so you can evidence your attempts if questions arise later. And if you genuinely cannot complete an accurate return in time, remember that a correct return filed at the wire beats an invented one filed early.
