Networking Recap: Building H2 Partnerships
You have likely met dozens of potential partners, suppliers, and consultants since January. In the final days of June, it is time to perform a Networking Audit.
The 'Power 5' Strategy
Look at your stack of business cards or your Line contact list. Identify the five individuals who:
- Control access to a new market segment you want to enter in Q3.
- Have the technical expertise to solve your current H1 bottleneck.
- Are well-connected with government agencies you need to influence.
- Represent potential joint-venture or referral partners.
- Provide the most reliable supply chain support.
The 'June Reach-Out'
Send a brief, personal message to these five people this weekend.
- "It's been six months since we met at [Event]. I'm planning my Q3 strategy and would love to hear your thoughts on [Industry Trend] next week."
Why it Works
Most investors network "wide" (lots of weak connections). Successful investors network "deep" (a few strong, high-trust alliances). By focusing on your "Power 5" in June, you start July with a dedicated support team outside your office walls.
