Preparing for August: High-Season Planning

Siam Advice FirmStrategy Analysis

As July fades, August looms as the most intense month of the third quarter. In the Thai calendar, August is when projects that started in H1 finally reach their full-scale launch. If you aren't prepared by Friday, you will be reacting all month instead of leading.

The August Triage

  1. Staff Capacity: Do you have the 'Human Dry Powder' for a 20% increase in orders? If your team is already at 100% capacity in July, they will burn out in August.
  2. Marketing Liquidity: August is when the "Back-to-School" and "Mid-Year Sale" momentum peaks. Ensure your digital ad accounts are funded and your localized content is ready to drop on August 1st.
  3. Government Deadlines: Remember, your P.N.D. 51 mid-year tax filing is due in August. If you did the work in June/July (as we advised), this is just a final sign-off. If not, this is your last week to avoid a crisis.

The Opportunity

August is also the month where Many of your competitors will take a "summer break." By staying aggressive and well-planned, you can capture market share while others are coasting.
